Use Your Imagination.

I think it's time for new, cooler dress up clothes.
But then again, what's cooler than a lime green, fuzzy hat?

Jackson's imagination is starting to work overtime. My days are filled with endless stories about things that have never really happened - at least not to my knowledge. But the things he talks about seem so real to him - it's interesting to see what he comes up with. If I ever figure out how to upload the videos from our video camera, you'll be able to hear some of these stories for yourself.

*Yesterday he informed me that his stick horse's name is Happy Feet Bubbles, but he mostly goes by Bubbles.

*Wilbur pushes him and hits him a lot, but he also lets Jackson drive his car in the sky. I don't know who Wilbur is.

*The sun was MAD at him and spit on him a few days ago.

*He likes to eat grasshoppers, but they are "a'custing" so he ends up spitting them out.

*"The people" take his blankie away.
*His bear is his best friend and likes to eat crackers.

*His tiger gets scared a lot, and Jackson is always there to say "No be scared, Tiger. My hold you."

He makes me laugh out loud every single day, and I can't wait to hear what he comes up with next.

Those things are so cute! It is good to write them down. You swear you won't ever forget what they say because they make you laugh so hard, but you do forget if you don't write 'em down. Blog away! We all need a good laugh.

As much as Jackson sounds like he can be a little stinker, he also sounds like an equally adorable little boy. :) I love it when kid's imaginations run wild. There's a girl in my nursery group who has recently been talking about her communication with Mission Control. I asked her mom about it and she has no idea who Mission Control is or where she came up with the idea.

For the longest time, my nephew would tell us stories about his "school in Arizona." K, he was like 3 at the time and had never been to any school. It's probably a good thing, too, because from the sounds of it, it was a pretty mean school!

One day at church a little girl went running past me with a baby doll held up high and yelled, "Baby Power!" kids say the darndest things...either that or your house is haunted by the ghost of Charlotte's pig buddy.
