Happy Birthday, Moogie!

Today Mia is officially one year old. Someone asked me yesterday when she was going to turn 2. Ummmm ... one year and one day - if you can believe that. They couldn't. That's how much of a bigger girl she is. The kid probably weighs in close to 30 pounds, folks.

She is going to be my mischievous child. She laughs when I tell her no-no. She can throw a fit like you've never ever seen before. She loves to be silly. She loves to be big, and can beat the living day-lights out of her brother. This is the child that makes me scared to reproduce again. Maybe it's the girl in her. Maybe it's the red-head in her. But most of all, I just love her to pieces, because my life wouldn't be complete without a little mischief, a daily sibling smack-down, and a little flair. All 8 pounds 4 ounces and 22 inches of her came flying into this world, not waiting for anyone or anything (you can read about that here) and that fits her personality just right. Happy Birthday, Mia-Magoo!

Enjoy her while you can. The years do slip buy so quickly.
