Emmett Turns 2!

Tomorrow is my baby boy's 2nd birthday! What?! He has been my most intense child so far, personality wise.   Yes. Even more intense than my fiery red headed Mia.  But he sure can be a hoot, as he loves to be silly and make us all laugh.  Sometimes the kids laugh at him when he's being naughty though, and this just fuels the fire.  A few things I never want to forget about Emmett:

*He is obsessed with chocolate! Seriously obsessed.  He will throw his head back and yell, "Chocolate!" to the sky whenever he wants some, which is several times a day.  He had chocolate milk, and chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for his birthday, and while he was opening presents, I said, "Emmett- what do you think it is?" And he threw his head back and yelled, "Chocolate!"

*He calls milk, "Milk-o"

*He likes to tease me, and always grabs my pillow, and with a grin on his face says, "Mine!"

*He loves to help me do everything.  When he needs help, or when he wants to help, he always says, "Help me! Help me!"

*He LOVES baseball.  Well, anything with a ball really, but baseball is his favorite.  Today in the yard, he grabbed a baseball and yelled, "Hike!" and then threw that sucker as far as he could - which is pretty far. And then he ran, fell down, and yelled, "Slide!"

*This kid will NOT go to nursery. 

*He loves the baby in my belly.  He is always very concerned about that baby.  However, we try not to mention the baby in public, because if we do, he HAS to check on the baby, which includes him pulling my shirt up.  Sometimes he kisses the baby, or gives the baby raspberries, or sometimes he just waves at my belly and says, "Hi!"

*His curls are the absolute best.

*Every morning he wanders the house yelling for Dad! Mia! Jackie! Dad! Mia! Jackie! 

*He loves, loves, loves Cookie Monster. And the minions.

*He will wear everyone elses shoes, but not his own.

I love, love, love this little man.  Happy Birthday Emmett!

 

And yes, that is "Chocolate!" all over his little face.
